Portraits communs

By assembling different samples of portraits from the works of the greatest Western painters, I seek to highlight the face of the "Woman" in art. However, I divide these faces by nation in order to find (according to the styles, movements and artistic currents of different periods) the female face specific to each country: in turn French, Spanish, Italian or American...
What's more, I try to immerse each fragment of face in the painter's studio itself, with the artist posing or painting... So each time it's a long process of researching archive images, digital collages, composition and colourisation...
